Cowpens, South Carolina Key Responsibilities Daily review of customer shipments using PowerBI and SAP systems to verify adherence to requested ship dates by our 3PL provider.
Collaborating with 3PL leadership to assess and review the daily shipping schedule, identifying and addressing any potential issues proactively.
Ensuring that the daily plan of our 3PL aligns with MANN+HUMMEL's expectations and customer shipment schedules.
Analyzing order placement data and shipment information to identify opportunities for enhancing business practices and achieving efficiency gains.
Following up on urgent customer orders requiring same-day shipping or priority shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Undertaking additional responsibilities related to Distribution & Logistics tasks as required by business needs.
Education High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience in warehouse management Required Skills Proficiency in using PowerBI and SAP systems for reviewing customer shipments.
Strong analytical skills to assess shipping schedules and identify potential issues.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with 3PL leadership and internal stakeholders.
Proactive problem-solving abilities to address issues in a timely manner.
Attention to detail to ensure adherence to customer requested ship dates.
Ability to prioritize and manage urgent customer orders for same-day or priority shipments.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and additional responsibilities in Distribution & Logistics tasks.
Preferred Skills Previous experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
Knowledge of logistics management principles and best practices.
Familiarity with supply chain processes and order fulfillment.
Experience with data analysis and identifying efficiency gains in logistics operations.
Understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
